Abstract

This research is qualitative. Data was collected using interviews.. The aim of this research is to find out the role of the management of SDM in the career development of employees in PT. BBC Singaraja Branch. To identify the role of human resource management in employee career development, factors such as education, training, post-promotion opportunities, and mutations are used. Career development is an effort by an organization in planning the career of its employees, known as career management, among other things planning, implementing, and overseeing careers. This research digs information directly from key informants and informants, namely managers and employees of the BBC. Data collection methods use the methods of interviews and documentation. Research has shown that the role of human resource management in employee career development at the BBC has been implemented effectively and appropriately, although there are some aspects that need consideration to enhance or optimize its effectiveness.
