PELATIHAN KEUANGAN DAN LITERASI FINANSIAL UNTUK PEREMPUAN PELAKU UMKM DI KELURAHAN KENDRAN KABUPATEN BULELENG
Abstract
Financial training and financial literacy programs are strategic efforts to enhance the capacity of women engaged in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in managing business finances more effectively and sustainably. This community service activity was conducted in Kendran Village, Buleleng Regency, aiming to improve the knowledge and skills of women MSME actors in basic financial recording, cash flow management, and rational financial decision-making.The methods employed in this program included lectures, hands-on training, and mentoring in preparing simple financial statements. The training materials covered fundamental concepts of financial literacy, the importance of separating personal and business finances, budgeting, and daily transaction recording. The participants were women MSME actors from various business sectors, including culinary, handicrafts, and small-scale trade.The results of the program indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of business financial management, as evidenced by their ability to prepare simple financial records and increased awareness of the importance of financial planning. Furthermore, the training encouraged positive behavioral changes toward more disciplined and structured financial management practices. Therefore, this program is expected to contribute to improving business performance and the economic well-being of women MSME actors in Kendran Village.
