Abstract

The purpose of this mentoring program is to optimize social media as a travel agency marketing tool. Social media is one of the many digital media that can be used to assist marketing activities. This latest marketing is expected to be able to reach a wider target market than conventional marketing methods. By running a mentoring program related to optimizing social media as a marketing tool, it is hoped that it can provide solutions in increasing audience reach and expanding marketing so as to increase new users of the Atmaja Tour travel agency services in Bantul. The method for implementing the mentoring program for the Atmaja Tour Bantul travel agent is carried out in several stages of the program, namely the preparation and planning stage, the implementation stage, and the reporting stage. The results of this program are the changes experienced by Atmaja Tour during the implementation of the mentoring program which can be seen from 2 indicators of change. The first indicator is content on social media that is more organized and well-planned. Then the second indicator is an increase in profile visits and interaction on social media. These two criteria are an indication that the marketing expansion strategy from originally using conventional media to social media can work well.
