Membangun Jiwa Berwirausaha Bagi Siswa Melalui Pelatihan Kewirausahaan

Abstract

SMP Negeri 23 is located in the Padang Betuah Village area, approximately 15 KM from Bengkulu City, has 10 teachers with PNS status, 7 people with honorary teacher status, and has 43 students in SMP 23 from grade 7 to grade 9. The problem that students of SMP Negeri 23 Bengkulu Tengah have is the low ability of the entrepreneurial spirit of students due to limited knowledge and low motivation for entrepreneurship. The objectives of carrying out this community service activity are: 1) Giving material about entrepreneurship and the importance of having an entrepreneurial spirit for students, 2) Demonstrating the manufacture of various food products that can be used as business ideas for students. The target of this Community Service activity is 20 students of SMPN 23. The method of implementing the activity is the provision of entrepreneurship materials and demonstrations of making products. The implementation of this activity went according to the expectations of the service implementers, because it received full support from the school in providing a place, getting support from teachers and students, as well as high interest and enthusiasm from teachers and students. The response from the participants was also very positive and supported the smooth running of the activity. This community service activity was successfully carried out in  a predetermined plan,  motivated students to be more active in entrepreneurship,  increased students' knowledge and skills in made various business products such as food, which can be an inspiration for others
